Dr. Michael Berglund, DC, DABCI

Dr. Michael Berglund has been in practice since 1991. He obtained a doctor of chiropractic degree from National Chiropractic College (now National University of Health Sciences). He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Internist (DABCI) and has served for 12 years on the Council on Internal Diagnosis & Disorders (CDID) board. He completed his undergraduate studies at Michigan Technological University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology (Laboratory Medicine). His book, Tired of Being Sick and Tired, was published by Siloam (a division of Charisma House Publishing). It is an easy-to-read book designed to help individuals suffering with chronic fatigue figure out if they have a low functioning thyroid gland, how to naturally restore it and ultimately, improve their health.

Dr. Berglund believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal itself. His clinical goal is to identify and remove obstacles to health, then provide the body with the specific support it needs to recover and restore normal function.

His patients are often those who have 'fallen through the cracks' of the traditional medical system. They either don't respond to or can't handle the medical treatment protocols offered to them (prescriptions/surgery). Dr. Berglund often helps people after they've been to countless physicians (from a variety of different specialties).

She is skilled at working with those who are recovering from, or currently in, narcissistic or abusive relationships. Her focus is on helping these individuals reclaim their identity and find safety.

Eileen is very relational in nature and believes in fostering a warm, open, and accepting environment in which effective therapy can take place. She believes in holistic health of body, soul, and spirit. She uses a variety of approaches and is open to finding the best fit for each client. Eileen wants to give each client some practical tools to help them navigate life, as well as exploring the deeper areas of wounding, or lack, to help restore wholeness and health.

Eileen has been married to her husband Michael for over 30 years and together they have two grown children and one grandchild. In her free time, Eileen loves to hike, travel, listen to audiobooks, and laugh a lot with friends and family.
