Dr. Michael Berglund, DC, DABCI Dr. Michael Berglund has been in practice since 1991. He obtained a doctor of chiropractic degree from National Chiropractic College (now National University of Health Sciences). He is a Board Certified Chiropractic Internist (DABCI). He did his undergraduate work at Michigan Technological University where he received a bachelor of science degree in Medical Technology (laboratory medicine). His recent book, Tired of Being Sick and Tired, was published by Siloam (a division of Charisma House Publishing). It is an easy-to-read book designed to help individuals suffering with chronic fatigue figure out if they have a low functioning thyroid gland, how to naturally restore it and ultimately, improve their health.
Dr. Berglund is not your ordinary doctor. While he is amazingly gifted in his field, he goes beyond the walls of "physical medicine" and relies on God's Holy Spirit to guide him as well. He sees his office as his mission field and he has an immense desire to see his patients be set free from physical problems. Dr. Mike, also known now as "the Dancing Doctor" for his lavish and free worship towards God. He enjoys speaking to individuals and groups about how God's truth applies to our physical bodies and the balance between the physical and spiritual worlds in which we exist.
Dr. Eileen Berglund, DC Eileen Berglund is a licensed chiropractor in Wisconsin and is also the President and Founder of The Truth Ministry. Even though she is currently not in private practice, Dr. Eileen does not shy away from using her skills whenever she can, whether it be with Joyce Meyer's medical team in Cambodia, or treating mission team members in Romania, Belize, Uganda and Nigeria. She has been able to see healings through her training and natural work as a chiropractor but also has seen miracles by the hand of God. She has personally prayed for and seen the blind receive their sight, the deaf hear and the lame walk.
Dr. Eileen functions primarily in an apostolic teaching anointing. She has a very practical way of bringing the Word of God to life and for bringing order into chaos. She has also used that gifting in homeschooling her two children over the past 11 years. Whether it's children or adults, or whether it's one-on-one or speaking to hundreds of people, she has the ability to make a difficult topic seem simple by using every day concepts or a story from her own life to drive home a message to her audience.
Christy Rauwerda Christy Rauwerda graduated from Carthage College with a degree in graphic design and studio art. She has been working at Berglund Health & Wellness Center since 2006. She does almost everything at the office. She manages our inventory, ships supplements to out-of-state patients, manages our retail site, notmedicine.com, as well as all customer service and shipping for online sales, and keeps our front office "store" stocked and our displays looking nice. She is the person on the phone, as well as the one who checks patients in and out. If that wasn't enough, she is also responsible for designing our promotional materials and digital advertising, as well as designing and developing our web site.
Christy is not only an employee, but she also has a successful history as one of Dr. Berglund's patients. This gives her a passion for seeing others who have been unable to get help anywhere else restored to health through natural and alternative medicine. She loves cooking, and is continually finding new ways to make the challenge of "clean eating" enjoyable for Dr. Berglund's patients.
